Tuna's Tank

Welcome to the online home of Tuna. I am sure some are curious about me, and how I work. Others would like a chance to send suggestions or comments, and many will want access to more of my images. I hope to meet all of those needs here. I am including a FAQ, an email link, and a gallery of images that will change as I have the time and worthy material.

FAQ

Who am I?
I am an Internet professional and family man in my mid 50's. I have been online since before it was fashionable, and have been editing images of women for as long. (Didn't we all get online for the nude images?) I have always been interested in film (I remember seeing Trapeze with my mother when it was released in 1956) and naked women, so celebrity nudity was a natural choice for me.

Why do I call myself Tuna?
I have used the username of tuna ever since I have been on line. I chose it for my love of fishing, especially for yellowfin tuna.

Where do I get my material?
Nearly all of my material comes from DVDs I order online. My collection is over 4,858 DVDs and boxed sets and growing. I welcome any tips for DVD projects, as searching for DVDs to order takes away from the time I have for creating images. While I cover major stars and Hollywood releases, I also cover as much foreign and Independent material as possible. My definition of celebrity is simple. Any woman who appears nude or partially nude in a film, and uses her name in the credits is a celebrity. Hence, my images include obscure actresses, as well as all of the popular ones.

What tools do I use?
I use an internal DVD-CD drive, and Power DVD to capture the frames. Next, I crop and adjust levels in Compupic, then resize, perform touch-up image adjustments, and create the composite images in Photoshop 7.0. Thumbnails are created using the automatic picture index feature of Compupic.

What is my approach to these projects?
I attempt to show all of the exposure and near exposure in as large a size as I can with decent image quality. I also try to provide enough atmosphere images to give a sense of the film. My definition of "celebrity" is very simple. While fame can be a fleeting thing, and todays biggest "celebrity" can be totally forgotten in a few years, celluloid is forever. For me, any woman who takes off her clothes in a film, and uses her name in the credits meets my criteria.

How many images have you done?
As of this morning, (6/29/04), I have created 63,802 composite images which include 3,316 actresses from 2,478 films.

Where can you find my images?
My images are exclusively found on Scoopy's Funhouse. While I don't mind that they circulate, I do find it very upsetting when people edit my images (sometimes even adding their own logo or URL to them), then distribute them as their own. Nobody besides Scoopy has a right to use their logo or URL on my images.

Do you have a CSV"
