Killer Sex

Sociologists tell us that viewing pornography leads to violent acts against women. Maybe they should rephrase and say instead that violent women lead to viewing pornography. The top two votegetters in the "Best Sex Scene" poll have in common women who are seductive murderers. I am not exactly sure if that’s related to anything, but it’s one of those things that I find strange.

"Wild Things" and "Basic Instinct" finished in a virtual tie (99-98 vote count). I assume that Sharon Stone finishes in first in a fair race. But she’s up against two women there so that’s a definite advantage for "Wild Things".

Personally, I voted for "Fatal Attraction". That should destroy any bit of credibility I may have gained up to this point. It garnered a mere 14 votes and was definitely in the minority. It doesn’t matter, I still thought it was hot as hell. Plus, who cares what I think? I’m just a slimeball in training anyway (Law School, in case you missed a previous article.)

Stern was right. Lesbians do equal ratings. This poll drew more voters than any of the previous ones. Let’s hope that number continues to grow. We move on to a more controversial topic with the new poll. Make your choice for the best dramatic film of the decade. This type of poll will be a continuous, albeit sporadic, theme as we are going to separate it by genre first and then take the top two votegetters from each poll and have them in a runoff for best film of the decade period. If your favorite movie is not on there, just vote for your choice of the films listed. This first poll is the hardest to narrow down because all the "serious" movies are the ones that seem to get the most attention. Anyway, if your favorite is missing, just vote for your favorite from the ones we did include.

As usual, all comments and suggestions to lawdogusc@hotmail.com. I know everyone must have suggestions for polls they would like to see. Nothing is off limits. We will be begging for topics sooner or later so it may as well be sooner. Send them in and we will eventually get them in there.
