I guess resistance IS futile

Going in, I knew Jeri Ryan was going to walk away with this poll. The only question was whether she would absolutely dominate the voting, or merely get the lion's share. Judging from the final result, she didn't clean house, she just tidied up a bit.

I think we will eventually see a little more skin from Jeri. You know Uncle Hef's folks have to be foaming at the mouth at the circulation an issue with a spread from her would produce. I would venture to say that it would be one of their top five sellers, if not the champion.

Marina Sirtis, aka Deanna Troi, was the least interesting character on TNG, but the best looking. Now before I get a thousand emails telling me how bad Wesley Crusher was, I am saying Troi was the least interesting of the regulars for the enitre run, so he doesn't qualify. The episodes that centered on her characrter were always lame and her contribution to the running of the ship nearly always consisted of "Captain, I am sensing something. I can't quite determine exactly what." Thanks counselor, Ensign number two over there at the helm could have told us that. You know what though? That was okay because she always wore that purple suit that left little to the imagination. Eye candy to the extreme.

So who is this Dax 2 character? I have never watched DS9 much and I definitely never saw her. She must be easy on the eyes though as evidenced by her fourth place finish. I will have to check her out. Terry Farrell, the original Dax, more than doubled her total so it just goes to show you, nothing beats the original, even when you are talking about sycophantic aliens.

I have nothing else to say on this poll except that I, like a great number of you, voted for Ms. Ryan. I think that she is a Ms. now. Just what I have been waiting for. I am expecting her call any day now.

The new poll is who has the best behind? This lady must have a great bottom and must have shown it, either in print or on film. Thanks to all the people who sent in nominees. They were very helpful. If you sent in an email, I tried to include at least one of your suggestions.

I will be asking for nominations on all polls in the future. It helps me to make sure I don't leave out obvious choices and to include nominees that I quite frankly wouldn't have known.

The poll after best behind will be: "Best Saturday Night Live Skit". Let's limit it to regular and recurring skits only. They need to have appeared at least twice on the show to qualify. Tom Hanks and Jon Lovitz's routine about the two guys trying to pick up women would qualify. Although that skit included the guest host, it was done on multiple episodes.Or you can choose obvious ones like "Wayne's World" or "The Church Lady". If you would, please include the name of the skit, like "Celebrity Jeopardy" or whatever. I am not very familiar with all of the '70's skits so don't just write in to say "That one with Dan Aykroyd and Steve Martin". Instead say "Wild and Crazy Guys" with Steve Martin and Dan Aykroyd.
