The Bush League
The results are in and I project George W. Bush as the next President of the United States. I don't really agree with that one for a couple of reasons. Did the apple really fall far from the tree? Didn't we just kick his Dad out of the Oval Office eight years ago? I guess if you are conservative minded, then you have to vote for him because I doubt McCain gets the nomination. It seems like the members of the GOP are placing all their bets on George.
I am not a citizen of the right side of the political spectrum. I am not firmly entrenched on the left anymore either. I used to be a fullblown bleeding heart liberal, but as I age, I find myself drifting ever so slightly to the middle. Not on all issues. I still subscribe to most liberal ideas. Freedom of everything basically. I just don't think that all conservative ideas are born from Nazis and Satan anymore.
I am not going to turn this article into a liberal recruiting party though. I think your choice is your choice. If you want to sleep with Hitler, who am I to argue? Just kidding. I did find a good website for people on the fence though.
If you are not sure that the candidate for whom you voted is your best choice, then you can go to the following website and they have a short quiz that you can take to determine which candidate best matches your views on the major issues of the campaign. I took it and it told me exactly what I thought it would but if you are struggling between a couple of candidates, it could help you out in making a choice.

The new poll is going from the Grand Old Party back to the Grand Old Game. Now that we know that Sandy and Nolan are the hurlers for our 20th century team, let's see who will catch the flyballs between the strikeouts. Who is the greatest outfielder of the 20th century? The top three votegetters will be our starters so vote away. Vote however you want. Vote for Ted Williams, a great hitter but a so-so fielder. Vote for Mays or Mantle, excellent at all aspects. Vote for Wee Willie Keeler or Lou Brock, speed demon table setters.
