Well, it probably helped that the "Penthouse" in which Ms. Lords was the centerfold was also the one in which the Vanessa Williams pictures originally appeared. That meant that only about three trillion people saw it. I was only thirteen at the time. I don't really remember being that impressed with the layout. I mean, anymore than any thirteen year old would be when shown a naked woman.

Of course, we found out later that Traci wasn't a "major" and I'm not talking about military rank. Yep, she had done the "Penthouse" layout and all of those movies when she was underage. Whoops! So all of a sudden, you couldn't buy her videos anymore. Something that I am curious about is whether Guccione Inc. had any repercussions. I guess they probably got out of it by saying that she represented herself as a n eighteen year old. If you believe they didn't know she was a minor, I've got a bridge in San Francisco I'd like to sell to you.

What makes a hot porn star? Well, I'll tell you what does to me personally. I don't want them to look like a porn star. If they look all slutty and nasty, then that has the opposite effect for me. I know that can't be the same for everyone, but I know it's that way for at least 59 of you out there because you picked my choice, Nikki Dial. She is too pretty to be a porn star. When she's not heavily made up, she looks like a model. Oh well, to each her own, as it were. Maybe she didn't want to be a model.

I also like Juli Ashton a lot. She seems pretty sharp on that "Playboy TV" call-in show. She doesn't have a porn star look either. That plus the brains puts her really close to Nikki and almost puts her on top. Or bottom, depending on your preference. Scoop doesn't have any pics of Miss Ashton in the Exncyclopedia Tittanica, so I can't include them here; otherwise I definitely would.

I don't really know what else to say about this poll. I thought it was interesting that no clear pattern emerged. No blonde domination. No "if you're not a DD cup, don't apply here." The voting was spread out among all different types of women, pardon the pun.

One more note on Dial. I can't say with absolute certainty that she is the hottest. I have to qualify by saying that I have never seen 75% of the nominees. I have no idea who any of the old ones are. Retro is not a concept that really applies to porn, so I have never had the opportunity to see Annette Haven et al.
